State powerlifting c’ship from Aug 9

The 33rd Senior Men’s & 27th Women’s UP State Powerlifting Championships will be organised from August 9 to 12 by the Ghaziabad district powerlifting association at Ghaziabad.

Secretary UP Powerlifting Association (UPPA) PK Srivastava informs that the tournament will be held in nine weight categories in the men’s section and eight weight categories in the women’s section. On the basis of performance in these championships the UP team for the senior national powerlifting championship will be selected.
