State junior aquatics team announced

The Uttar Pradesh Swimming Association (UPSA) on Friday declared the Uttar Pradesh aquatics team which will be participating in the 36th Junior National Aquatic Championships 2009,to be held at Jaipur from June 23 to 27.

According to Ravin Kapoor,hony. secretary UPSA,the swimmers have been selected on the basis of their performances in recently concluded 40th Junior State Swimming Championships held at Bareilly under the Samanvay Scheme of the UP Sports Directorate. An eleven-day coaching camp of the state team is being organised Dorilal Sports Stadium,Bareilly. The UP team will leave from Lucknow for Jaipur on June 21,he further added.
