Some deal struck between Kushwaha and SP: BJP

The BJP,which had welcomed former family welfare minister of BSP governmentBabu Singh Kushwaha into its fold in January 2012,on Saturday called him a “symbol of corruption” and alleged that there was some deal struck between Kushwaha and Samajwadi Party (SP).

While reacting to the induction of Kushwaha’s wife Shivkanya and brother Shiv Sharan in the SP,state BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai said,“SP’s compromise with Kushwaha — a symbol of corruption — shows the dual character of the party.” Bajpai added that the SP supremo was doing such compromise to fulfill his ambition of becoming the Prime Minister. Bajpai said that the joining of Kushwaha’s wife and brother in SP will affect the probe against Kushwaha,as SP is the ruling party in the state and it is also supporting Congress at the Centre.
