An all-important goal by Saket Krishna in the 54th minute went a long way as his team- Vishwanath Academy defeated St. Mary's College,RDSO by 1-0 in their day's match of the 9th Avinash Chandra Chaturvedi Memorial Inter College Football Tournament at Chowk Stadium,Lucknow on Thursday. The match was a real treat to watch as both the teams resorted to an attacking game from the word go. Jagran Public School defeated Stella Maris College by 1-0 in the second match of the same tourney. The first-half was goal-less. Stella Maris dominated the second-half but missed a number of chances. Jagran Public School got a free kick in the 50th minute from 35 yards and this opportunity was converted into a goal by Mani Raj Martand.
