Reoti Raman all praise for Akhilesh

Samajwadi Party (SP) MP from Allahabad and party’s national general secretary,Reoti Raman Singh,on Saturday praised state president Akhilesh Yadav for his decision to keep D P Yadav out of SP. He,however,maintained that the “boss” in the SP was still Mulayam Singh,though his son Akhilesh was doing a good job of bringing people close to the party.

The issue of Akhilesh increasingly taking over the party’s affairs has come to the fore on the issue of induction of D P Yadav into the party and subsequent sidelining of spokesperson Mohan Singh for allegedly speaking in favour of the strongman from western UP. Addressing a press conference here,Singh said: “Akhilesh can take decisions. He is the state president. He has been doing a good job by touring the entire state. He did well to keep D P Yadav out of the party.” He added that whether Akhilesh would be considered for the post of chief minister if SP comes to power was something that the party would decide at the right time.
