Ashutosh Rana shares some home truths

At a time when roping in film stars to campaign is the order of the day, actor Ashutosh Rana is not using his star power to help his brother,a Congress candidate from Jabalpur.

“I would have loved to campaign for him,but he does not want people to vote for him on my name,” says Ashutosh making a statement on his family background, which encourages values and discourages compromise.

“I neither run after roles nor I am comfortable with doing just anything that comes my way,” he says when asked about his absence from the big screen.

“I may not be doing many films but people remember me for the few roles I have done,” says Ashutosh,in town to promote Sarkaar Ki Duniya, the reality show being aired on REAL.

About the show,Ashutosh says,“Unlike Big Boss with which the comparison is obvious because of the format, the participants are exposed to real life situations and that brings out the best in them and turns them into extraordinary individuals,” says Ashutosh.

Happy but not satisfied with his film career,Ashutosh,a disciple of spiritual Guru Daddaji, says being happy matters more. “I live in the present and never plan the future,” the star spells out his contentment mantra.

And what about his wife Renuka Shahane? “She is at home, relaxing after directing a Marathi movie ‘Sita’,” says Ashutosh.
