Punish guilty in Mumbai housing scam,says Joshi

Former Union Minister and Varanasi Member of Parliament Murli Manohar Joshi has said the Adarsh Housing Society scam of Mumbai was not a small issue and those found guilty in it should be punished. Joshi was addressing the media persons at the BJP state headquarters in Lucknow on Monday.

Commenting on the scams relating to the Commonwealth Games,Joshi said: “Instead of forming a joint parliamentary committee to probe into the CWG scam,the Union government has given the task to small committees which shows the seriousness of the investigation. We are now waiting for the (probe) reports before commenting further.”

Joshi said American President Barack Obama should make his stand clear on Pakistan. “He may not be visiting Pakistan at the moment but America has certainly given aid worth millions of dollars to Pakistan,” said Joshi. If America is against terrorism,then it should stop all aid and support to Pakistan,he said.
