A group of engineering students of Integral University have invented a tracking device, which will automatically alert you if some miscreant tries to decamp with your vehicle or any other belonging.
A team of four students — Arpit Singhal,Alok Trivedi,Anurag Vaish,Ankit Srivastava has developed this device under the guidance of Anurag Banoudha, president of Robotics Society,Integral University. The device works on radio frequency and its developer claims that a set of this will cost only Rs 320,which means that an average person can purchase it. It is battery operated which can be recharged.
Banoudha said the tracking device consists of two parts a receiver with a horn and a radio frequency transmitter with an antenna. The transmitter installed in the object generates frequencies for a fixed range. The receiver’s device remains in the standby mode until it is within range. Once the receiver comes out of range, its horn starts ringing, he added.
