Manoj Tiwari XI triumph

Manoj Tiwari XI beat LSJA XI by 13 runs in the first match of a three-match series,played at LDA Stadium,Lucknow on Sunday. Batting first after winning the toss,Manoj Tiwari XI scored 150 runs losing two wickets in the given 15 overs. In reply,LSJA could score 137 runs losing three wickets in the same number of overs.

Amrendra Pandey (56 runs; 1 for 20) was declared ‘Man-of-the-match’,Nitin Tiwari (2 for 28) was declared ‘Best Bowler’ while Sukant Banerjee (52 runs) was adjudged ‘Best Batsman’. The second match will be played on May 1 at Varanasi.
