A nine-year-old boy (picture on right) was found killed in Chowk police station area on Wednesday night. Police said Harsh,a resident of Chowk and a class 4 student,had gone missing from his house on Wednesday morning. His mother Guddi lodged a missing complaint.
Chowk station house officer IP Singh said the body of Harsh was found in the graveyards (picture above) near Girdhari Singh Inter College. He said the body was spotted by boys from the neighbourhood who had gone to play there in the evening.
Singh said the postmortem report has revealed throttling as the cause of death. He said an FIR has been lodged against unidentified persons for murder. The boy’s father is a labourer.
