Maya writes to pm again

Chief Minister Mayawati has sent another letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh reiterating her demands for increasing the existing quota for SCs/STs,as well as reservation for them in the judiciary and private sector. She pleaded that despite increase in population of SCs/STs,the quotas remained the same. Thus the urgent need for this,she added. According to a press release issued by the public relations and information department,Mayawati,in her letter to the PM,mentioned that the existing quota for SCs/STs should be increased to accommodate some castes under OBC categories. She also claimed in the letter that SCs/STs were happy in UP because of steps taken by her government.
