July 1 deadline for e-services by 8 depts

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has directed the officers to ensure that 26 services of eight departments, including registration in employment exchange offices,are available online at common service centres across the state by July 1.

Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has directed the officers to ensure that 26 services of eight departments, including registration in employment exchange offices,are available online at common service centres across the state by July 1.

The officers were told about the deadline by Chief Secretary Jawed Usmani during a review meeting of e-governance projects in the state today.

There are about 8,600 common service centres across the state and the facilities that would be made available at these centres would be renewal of ration cards,registration and renewal of registration at employment exchange.

Applications for birth and death certificate,loan for a differently-able person,SC/ST scholarship,income certificate,caste certificate etc can also be submitted through these centres.
