India team for Asian T-T

The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) on Thursday announced the India team for the 19th Asian Table Tennis Championships to be held at UP Badminton Academy,Lucknow from November 16 to 22. While the men’s team features Achantha Sharath Kamal,Sourav Chakraborty,Soumyadeep Roy,Jubin Kumar and Anirban Nandy,in the women’s section,K Shamini,Pooja Sahasrabhudhe,Divya Deshpande,Mouma Das,Poulomi Ghatak have been selected. India being the hosts,have been allowed two additional entries in the singles events,so the following players will participate in the singles events apart from the team members: Men’s singles: Devesh Karia,Aman Balgu; Women’s singles: Mamta Prabhu,Madhurika Patkar. M Constatini,Bhawani Mukherjee and Vijay Sarathi are the team coaches while K Karunakaran is the team manager. CK Basnet and Rakesh Rawat are the assistant managers.
