Help found dead in BJP legislator’s flat in Lucknow

Additional Superintendent of Police,East,Harish Kumar,said: “There are no injuries on the body and we suspect that he died of fever.”

According to the police,on Friday evening,the building guard,Prem Prakash Chowdhary,informed them about the body. “Prem Prakash said when he visited the flat for cleaning in the morning,he saw Babloo sleeping on the bed,” an officer said. “When he went to clean up in the evening,he was dead.”

Babloo was working at the house for the last two months. He used to cook for Dinesh Singh,a relative of the MLA,who is a frequent visitor. He also worked part time at a shop.“Singh was staying at the flat for the last few days,” said Gupta.

“My father is contesting Zila Panchyat election and I am helping him,” Singh said. “I often visit the flat. I don’t know since when Babloo started living there. He was not our domestic help and used to bring tea for visitors.”

The key of the flat was with one Deena Nath,he said. “Deena Nath had allowed Babloo to stay in the flat,” he added. The legislator was not available for comments.
