FIR against RNN contractor

An FIR was lodged against a Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (RNN) contractor at Gomti Nagar police station on Tuesday for not making payment to a Rajasthan-based granite supplier.

According to complainant Ram Avtar Saini,the granite supplied by him was used in various parks and memorials built by the Mayawati government. Saini,a granite supplier from Dausa,alleged that RNN contractor Jitendra Mishra had asked him to supply granite worth Rs 6.20 crore. Later,Mishra paid him only Rs 3.16 crore and declined to pay the remaining money,Saini alleged. Police has lodged an FIR against Mishra under various sections of the IPC. Gomti Nagar station officer Manoj Kumar Mishra said the accused runs his firm named Anurag Granites from Aliganj area of Lucknow.
