Lucknow Range DIG Navniet Sekera has ordered an inquiry against a city police station officer for allegedly molesting a woman constable. Sekera said the constable,posted at the same police station,called the UP polices helpline for women on Saturday and complained that the station officer made indecent advances on her while she was on duty. Sekera said even though she did not submit a formal complaint,he has ordered Cantonment circle officer Babita Singh to conduct an inquiry and submit the report in two days. He said the constable complained that she succeeded in escaping from the place where station officer allegedly molested her. Sekera said the girl had complained on Saturday but he came to know about it on Monday.
