Dereeka claims gold in athletics

In junior boys 100m race,KU Arosa of Ananda College,Sri Lanka bagged a gold,MA Samaika of the same college bagged a silver while Manish Ranjan of Gems English Medium School,Rohtas,Bihar won bronze medal. In junior girls 100m race,Anandita Singh of Mayo Girls’ College,Ajmer won the gold,Manisha Chand of Buddhanilkanth School,Nepal won the silver medal while Reema Mahajan of CMS Peace House settled down for a bronze medal.

In boys seniors long jump,Rahul Malla and Suman Paudal of Buddhanilkanth School,Nepal won gold and silver,respectively,while Ambuj Mahajan of CMS Peace Team won the bronze. In senior girls long jump,Nikita Choudhary of All Saints’ School,Nainital won gold medal,Apala Sharma of St. Anthony’s School,Agra won the silver and Garima Maurya of Aditya Birla School,Sultanpur won the bronze medal. In javelin throw seniors boys,Rudra Pratap Singh of CMS Peace Team won gold and in girls senior category for the same event,Aditi Seth of Mayo Girls’ College,Ajmer won the silver. In juniors boys javelin throw,Ankit Verma of CMS Peace team won gold medal.

Young players of judo and karate from Nepal grabbed several gold medals.
