15 held for selling adulterated food

Lucknow: At least 15 persons were arrested in the state during a drive against adulteration of food items by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA),police said on Friday. The FDA team had conducted raids in 30 districts.

2 IPS officers shifted

Lucknow: The state government on Friday evening transferred two IPS officers. Additional Director General,Technical Services,Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has been made ADG Intelligence,while IPS officer NR Padmaja has been asked to join as Commandant 15th Battalion PAC,Agra. She was Commandant 23rd Battalion PAC,Moradabad.
