BJP MLA granted bail

BJP MLA from Bijnore,Kunawar Bhartendra Singh,was granted bail by a local court in Muzaffarnagar Friday. Bhartendra was arrested Thursday for allegedly delivering inflammatory speeches at two panchayats held in Muzaffarnagar on August 31 and September 7.

Police arrested Singh from Civil Lines area of the district Thursday and was produced before court that sent him to judicial custody.

Singh is the third BJP legislature arrested on charges of delivering inflammatory speeches in panchayats in Muzaffarnagar that witnessed communal violence last month claiming over 50 lives.

Assistant Prosecuting Officer,Gyanendra Verma said Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunder Lal granted bail to MLA Kunawar Bhartendra in both cases. ENS
