Amit Shah’s pep talk to party workers

A day after BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi addressed the Vijay Shankhnad rally in Varanasi,his aide and party’s national general secretary Amit Shah held a meeting with leaders of five regions of the state in Lucknow to review organisational activities of the party.

Leaders from 55 districts of Kashi,Kanpur,Aawadh,Gorakhpur and Bundelkhand regions attended the meeting,in which they were directed to revive organisational activities,including collection of funds for party and formation of booth level committees in these districts.

BJP state spokesperson Manoj Mishra said: “In the meeting,it was decided to hold district and mandal level meetings from Sunday to January 10. These meetings are aimed at accelerating organisational activities and mobilise workers.”

BJP’s state president Laxmikant Bajpai said the birth anniversary of party veteran and former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be celebrated in all districts on December 25.
