Akram Shah of Uttar Pradesh bagged a gold in the 11th SAF Games 2010 being organised at Dhaka,Bangladesh. Akram grabbed the gold in the 60 kg weight category. As per informational received from UP Judo Association,India got the overall first place with 5 golds and 1 bronze whereas Pakistan with 3 golds,3 silvers and 1 bronze occupied the second spot. It may be mentioned that Akram had stood 9th in 2004 Athens Olympics.
