An impressive 90 run knock by Abbas Raza (90 run off 91 balls; 6x4,3x6) was the highlight of the match as his team UP Timber defeated Varanasi XI by 71 runs in their semi-final match of the 25th SS Hussain State Cricket Tournament at Chowk Stadium,Lucknow on Tuesday.

In a pre-quarterfinal match of the same tourney played at Pt. RB Tiwari Stadium,all-round efforts by Sachin Srivastava (53 runs; 2 for 14) and a 53 run knock by Rahul Sachan helped Armaan Hostel Agra in defeating Tulip-Inn by eight wickets.
