11 special athletes from UP for World Summer Games

Eleven special players from UP will be participating in the Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held at Athens (Greece) later this month. Co-ordinator for Lucknow District of Special Olympics Bharat,Suresh Chandra Pant informs that the a preparatory camp for the players selected from different parts of the country will be organised at New Delhi from June 9 to 19. Six players and one coach from Lucknow will also be leaving for New Delhi for participation in the camp.

The players from Lucknow are Deepika Gupta (athletics),Yogita Punetha (roller skating),Nibha Tripathi (table-tennis),Ali Mohammad (bocce),Ejaz Siddiqui (cycling),Anup Kumar (roller skating); Mamta Yash (Coach).
