Trinamool panel meets Narayanan

A delegation of academicians under the banner of West Bengal Trinamool Congress Education Cell ( an education outfit of TMC) met Governor M K Narayanan today. The delegation comprising 10 teachers from different institutions was led by Manik Bhattacharya,the head of the TMC cell. The delegation raised the issue of campus violence and blamed the state for its inaction.

“We told the governor this government cannot ensure free and fair campus elections. We also requested him to intervene in the appointment of teachers and administrators as the government was trying to bring in its own favourites on key positions before the polls,” said Bhattacharya.
