We want to announce to the world that the disabled people have talents as any other ordinary person, said Wang Jing, choreographer and arts coordinator. The highlights of the evening were the mesmerising Buddhist dance Thousand-hand Bodhisattva, renditions of Vande Mataram and the now ubiquitous Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire.
The two-day performance was part of the Chinese Art Festival in India, which attempts to foster friendly ties between the two nations.
