A state government order to transfer all employees working in the secretariat for more than 12 years to various departments has created a flutter among employees. The order memo number 428/PAR (CCW),issued yesterday,mentions that to improve efficiency in secretariat administration,the government will implement a new transfer policy in respect of all employees under the secretariat common cadre who have spent more than 12,15 and 27 years of service at one time in different phases. The decision has been taken in order to curb political hegemony. Government employees,however,said that because people working in a department for many years are experienced,it will be difficult for a new person to cope with the technicalities of the department.
