Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s exploration of new areas and rooms at Writers’ Buildings continues. The other day,she looked at a room adjacent to her chamber and asked one of the journalists who was present there: “Eta kar ghar re? (whose chamber is this?) and without waiting for an answer entered the room used by the state Chief Secretary’s PAs. There she got to know that a big chamber behind the office she entered was that of the Chief Secretary. As the PAs requested her to go to that room,Banerjee said: “No I should not. He must be busy.” But when requested further,she entered the Chief Secretary’s room,appreciated the ambience and then left. Chief Secretary Samar Ghosh,cool and composed,took the matter quite sportingly,it has been learnt.
