Plea in HC on police associations offices
The Calcutta High Court on Wednesday admitted a petition of state police associations alleging that they are yet to get the possession of their offices, which were taken by the government after disbanding them. The court will hear the case on August 13. In 2012,Trinamool Congress government had cancelled recognition of West Bengal Police Association,Kolkata Police Association and Non-Gazetted Police Karmachari Samiti.
