Eunuchs petition EC against Bangla competitors

The eunuch community of Bengal has submitted a deputation to the Chief Election Commissioner in Delhi and Election Commission office in Kolkata claiming that nearly 80 per cent of the Bangladeshi intruders in the state are men dressed up us eunuchs to earn their living in the state.

Security needs to be tightened along the border,especially before the Lok Sabha elections. We have been protesting against the infiltrators for long and even submitted a deputation to the DM of Hooghly but to no avail, said Shova Halder,secretary,Panskura Brihannala Welfare Society.

Halder claimed that most of the infiltrators sneaked in through Barasat,Bongaon,Gumo Habra and Nadia. They dressed up as eunuchs and fleeced people in trains and on roads. Halder claimed they also bribed the local political party to enroll themselves in the electoral list. Politicians are opposing land acquisition and industrialisation,but people from Bangaldesh come here,buy land and start living here illegally and no one does anything about it, he added.

Also present on the occasion was Rajashri Choudhury,the BJP candidate from Tamluk. Most of the eunuchs that you find in trains these days are from Bangladesh, said Choudhury. It is unfortunate that these fake eunuchs have got voter cards and politicians have bought their votes while many of the real eunuchs still dont have such cards, said Halder.
