West Bengal state committee of the CPM has organised a two-day session here from Sunday.
The two-day session,which is likely to be attended by the partys General Secretary Prakash Karat,will primarily deliberate on the partys stand in the present political situation in the state now under rule of Trinamool-Congress coalition.
Party sources said that apart from the political situation in the state,alleged attacks on the comrades,forcible occupation of party offices and assault on leaders and workers,rise in prices of essential commodities and other issues will be discussed.
The meeting will discuss the zonal,regional and district-level conferences and the procedures to hold the same, sources said.
State Secretary Biman Bose,former Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharjee,besides other senior leaders will attend the meet.
