‘CPM should desist from killing TMC workers’

The Trinamool Congress has warned the CPM if “it did not stop violence against its workers”. Sports Minister Madan Mitra said: “Since we came to power as many as 80-90 Trinamool supporters were killed by CPM whereas just 20-25 people of other parties died in political violence. We will resist in a peaceful manner. The CPM refuted his claims saying the minister was preparing a ground for attacking Left cadres.
