AMRI directors bail rejected again

The CJM court of Alipore on Thursday extended the jail custody of the eight accused in the AMRI Hospital fire case till February 2.

The CJM court of Alipore on Thursday extended the jail custody of the eight accused in the AMRI Hospital fire case till February 2. During the hearing of the bail petition,police alleged that the directors of the AMRI Hospital tried to influence the witnesses by offering money. Placing the case diary before the CJM,the government counsel requested the court to go through the statements of the two witnesses. However, Salim Rehman,the counsel of the accused,said how could his clients influence the witnesses when they are in jail.
