Adhir seeks bail in 2012 case

Accused in a 2012 case of attacking the District Magistrate’s bungalow in Murshidabad,Minister of State for Railways Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury applied for an anticipatory bail Tuesday at a local court here. His lawyers,who filed the application on behalf of the minister,said the case would come up for hearing on Friday. Adhir was accused in the case along with 14 other Congress workers.
