Minister of State for Railways Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury was today granted bail in two cases the Behrampore District Magistrates bungalow attack case and the election code violation case.

While the police had filed a suo motu case against the minister for attack on the DMs bungalow,Humayun Kabir,the TMC MLA from Rejinagar,had filed three complaints against Adhir for his provocative speech during the Shaktipur Panchayat election with an aim to influence voters.
