The CBSE results were declared on May 28,but students in West Bengal are still waiting for their mark sheets.

CBSE officials in Delhi said they had dispatched the results from their end,but their Bhubaneswar counterparts – under whom the West Bengal branch of CBSE falls – claimed they had received the mark sheets late.

M C Sharma, controller of examination of CBSE,Delhi, said they had dispatched the results to the different regions. However, some officials in Delhi admitted that due to technical difficulties, they had sent some mark sheets late.

Officials of the Bhubaneswar region said they had received the mark sheets two days ago. Individual schools can send their representatives to collect the results, they added.

Malini Bhagat, principal of Mahadevi Birla Girls High School, said they had collected the mark sheets and students will receive them tomorrow.

CBSE students have so far got only the online mark sheets. Many colleges, however, want the original certificate for admission.

St Xavier’s will consider online mark sheets attested by the respective schools. Presidency College authorities have decided that students will have to submit a copy of the original marksheet during counselling. But for admission, the online mark sheet is sufficient.
