World Punjabi Parliamentarians’ Forum Launched

World Punjabi Parliamentarians came together on one platform on Friday in Delhi. Punjabi leaders from all over the world joined hands on the launch of First World Punjabi Parliamentarian Fourm. This was announced by Vikramjit Sahney,International President,World Punjabi Organization (WPO) on Friday.

“We need to engage Members of Parliaments of Indian Origin across the globe to help strengthen,enhance and promote cultural,social,economic and trade relationships between their country of residence and India,” said Vikramjit Sahney.

Over 25 parliamentarians from various countries such as Ruby Dhalla,Member Parliament Canada,Harinder Takhar Minister of Govt. Services Toronto,Canada; Baroness Sandip Verma,Minister of Equalities and Women,UK were present at the occasion.
