Woman’s body found in Bhalswa Dairy

The body of an unidentified woman was found in North Delhi’s Bhalswa Dairy police station area on Tuesday morning. According to police,there was a slash wound on the woman’s neck. A passerby spotted the body abandoned between Bhalswa Lake and a gurdwara in the area and made a PCR call around 8 am. “The body has been preserved at Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital and the identification process is on. We are looking at missing and kidnapping cases in the area to identify the woman. The post-mortem report will ascertain whether she was raped. We have registered a case and investigations are on,” a police officer said.
