Few things match the hype that is generated when former partners are brought back to romance each other on screen. A considerable amount of curiosity surrounding the recent Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani came from the fact that it had actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone coming together after their alleged break up. The films producer Karan Johar seems to have taken note.

Johar is believed to have cast his Student of the Year stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt opposite each other in a new film. Dhawan and Bhatt,who were said to be romantically involved during SOTY,and played a reel-life couple in it,were believed to have parted ways afterwards. The new film,to be directed by a debutante,will see them together.
