‘Step towards turning Delhi a medical hub’: CM Rekha Gupta inaugurates 70 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated 70 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs on Tuesday.”Every family will now have the assurance of accessible healthcare; Arogya Mandirs will offer enhanced medical service. Expansion of health services is a step towards developing Delhi as a medical hub,” she said at the inaugural event.

CM claimed that the BJP government has already established 250 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs. The target is to set up more than 1,000 such centres, Gupta added.

Gupta noted that taking into account the increasing patient load on large hospitals, these neighbourhood-level health facilities have become essential. The government aims to establish 15 such centres in each assembly constituency, she said.

She also hit out at the previous AAP government, alleging it failed to provide basic amenities like water, sewer and essential civic infrastructure to the people despite being in power for the last 10 years. and essential civic infrastructure while in power in Delhi.
