Call me Jack bhai,” said Hugh Jackman at the FICCI Frames movie convention in Mumbai,on Friday evening. The X-Men star clearly felt at home.

The actor was part of the valedictory session with Shah Rukh Khan,as Karan Johar played host. As the house went up in applause upon his arrival with wife Deborra Lee-Furness,Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan introduced him.

Thanking the actress,he said,“When I was told that I’ll be introduced by the most beautiful actress in the world,I thought they meant my wife… I say this because I’m a smart man,and also because my wife is seated in the front row.”

The Australian actor started his note referring to the quarter- final game on Thursday, where Australia lost to India. “At the gym this morning,I was given a strip with a thought for the day. It said,‘A man’s worst failures are followed by big successes’.

After the game we lost yesterday,I knew that today is going to be a great day.”

While Jackman admitted to having watched Bollywood films,he added that in Baz Luhrmann’s historical romance,Australia, his kissing scene with Nicole Kidman in the rain, followed by a dance sequence, was inspired by Bollywood. Khan then took the opportunity to teach the star a few Bollywood dance moves, and Jackman promised to return when Johar signed him for My Name Is Khan’s sequel: “And then I’ll say,‘My name is Jackman, and I’m not a tourist”.
