Skills development institute for Capital

The government will set up a skills development institute,created with technical expertise and assistance from authorities in Singapore,in the Capital soon. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit,who returned from a three-day visit to the country,said,“We are keen on setting up a skill development institute in Delhi,modelled on the Singapore Institute of Technical Studies.” Officials accompanying the Chief Minister said a high-level delegation from Singapore will visit Delhi to finalise the collaboration soon.
