Esprit,an American brand that internationally features perfect waiflike teens seems to have ditched the models for real life people,at least in India. At a recent unveiling of their fall collection at its flagship store at Select City Walk in Saket,privileged customers milled around,pecking at cheese crepes and shopping at a discounted rate of 15 per cent. We have always focused on real people since its the customer who promotes our products , said Manjula Tewari,COO of Esprit,India. The collection features sleeveless purple V-neck sheath dresses,sharply tailored tunics alongside little black dresses and sporty knitwear. Also check out the array of umbrellas ranging from classic black to canary yellow. Spotted at the launch were VJ Anusha and model Nina Manuel dressed in Esprit outfits,Ramneek Pantal and restaurateur AD Singh.
