If you couldn’t get your hands on the tickets for Oktoberfest celebrations at Mahalaxmi Race Course,use the excuse and escape the city to be a part of Doolally Oktoberfest’s second edition in Pune. From October 14-16,Pune-based microbrewery,Doolally,will be serving handcrafted beers such as the Oktoberfestbier,a traditional specialty made for the festival,the wheat beer Hefeweizen,an Irish ale and apple cider.

“It helps that one of our co-founders,Oliver Schauf,is a German brewmaster,” says Suketu Palekar,co-founder of Doolally.

Keeping in mind the entertainment,20 local bands will play a mix of on-the-spot-jams,covers and German march music in addition to a few stand-up acts.
