Oomph trooped in with oodles of attitude as the 20 finalists of the Ford Supermodel of the World took a coffee break at Barista Lavazza in Defence Colony on Friday. As they walked in,the mercury soared. The contestants,between 18 and 22 years of age,have their eyes on the main Ford Supermodel title.

One of the largest modelling competitions in the world,Ford Supermodel started in the 1980s and is spread over 50 countries. The finals for India will be held in Gurgaon on June 15,and the aspirants will wear designs by Sabyasachi and Gauri-Nainika among

others. The winner will represent India at the international contest in New York in November. The girls could take tips from previous title holders,Bipasha Basu and Vidisha Pavate.
