Motorists injure constable

Angry over the police not removing barricades on New Year’s Eve,four men allegedly injured a 40-year-old constable in East Delhi.

Constable Naval Kishore escaped with a fractured arm in the incident,which occurred near V3S mall in Laxmi Nagar around 10 pm on Friday,the police said.

The four youths were travelling in their WagonR car when they were stopped by Kishore,who asked for their vehice documents.

Enraged,they got into their car and drove past Kishore, hitting him.
