Campbell,a guest of IMG event management and hotelier Vikram Chatwal stayed at a suite at the Grand Hyatt hotel,also the venue of the just-concluded Lakme fashion Week,where she took a turn for charity.

The staff at the hotel says she didn’t drink or do drugs at all,rather unlike her party-girl reputation,and the mini bar was untouched.

The only time worth discussing is when she dropped in to say hello to ex boyfriend Nicky Nayar and his wife Samantha at their Marine Drive apartment. After the meeting,Campbell requested her entourage that she wanted to spend time alone with her thoughts.

The model was also critiqued for missing her own party,co-hosted by Chatwal and the Mai Mumbai charity. But the truth is the poor girl had come down in her airport clothes to make a quick stop at the China House bar for the party,but the mob delayed her and she would have missed her flight to Paris.

The night before,at the IMG party,Campbell insisted on wearing a grotesque Manish Malhotra white sari,even though over a dozen splendid white ones from Tarun Tahiliani and Abu-Sandeep were summoned for her. (Bling bling is her thing,as she showed off the mega rock gifted to her by her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin).

At the party,the girl was a lady as she chatted and posed with everyone she was introduced to—right from Ujwala Raut,Queenie Dhody and Laila Lamba to Nandita Mahtani,Narendra Kumar and Aki Narula. She had a glass of champagne in her hand but left as she soon as she had picked it up.
