Delhi Universitys Executive Council passed the proposal for its meta-college and meta-university courses which are expected to start this year. At the meeting held on Sunday, only one raised an objection to the proposal. Rajiv Ray,the lone dissenter at the meeting, said there were problems with the courses as well as the manner in which they were approved. The approval has been granted without the content of the courses being discussed at the meeting. No peer review was done. The Academic Council of the university had passed this proposal on Saturday.
