Kejriwal to campaign for INDIA bloc parties in Maharashtra, Jharkhand

On Thursday, AAP sources said that the two Maharashtra parties had contacted Kejriwal and it was decided that he would address a few rallies there.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal is likely to campaign for INDIA bloc parties ahead of Assembly elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand in November, sources said.

In Maharashtra, the former Delhi CM is expected to campaign for the Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP-SP. In Jharkhand, he is likely to campaign for the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. In May, when he was released by the Supreme Court on interim bail in the excise policy case, Kejriwal campaigned in Maharashtra and Jharkhand ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

On Thursday, AAP sources said that the two Maharashtra parties had contacted Kejriwal and it was decided that he would address a few rallies there. The schedule is yet to be finalised, sources said.
