Ahead of the inauguration of the Haryana segment of the Dwarka Expressway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Saturday inspected preparations at the site, the four-layer trumpet sections, the helipad, and the venue for the public meeting.

According to a statement by the Gurgaon administration, the PM will enter Haryana at the Bajghera border via road where he will be welcomed by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya and Khattar, along with other dignitaries. The Prime Minister will then inspect the four-layer trumpet sections on foot. Following this, he will inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway at Sector 84 and address the public.

During this, an exhibition on the Expressway and the development stages of the National Highways Authority of India’s project in Haryana will also be displayed, said the statement.

The Expressway is set to connect Shiv Murti near IGI Airport to Kherki Daula toll, offering an improved commuting option for a significant population in Gurgaon and facilitating travel to Delhi. Being built at an estimated cost of Rs 9,000 crore, it is segmented into four parts, with two in Delhi (10.01 km) and two in Haryana (18.9 km).
