IGNOU recognition for DU’s distance learning courses

The legal tussle between IGNOU and Delhi University on the recognition of correspondence courses has been resolved,with IGNOU agreeing to recognise the courses provided by DU,on Friday. IGNOU informed the Delhi High Court about its decision to give post facto recognition of the programmes. The decision came as a respite to more than 50 students who had qualified for government jobs,but were not issued appointment letters by the Staff Selection Commission.
